Hi, I’m Yvette! A chance encounter with climbing during a trip to Lisbon in 2020 quickly became a lifestyle centered around climbing, being outdoors, and contributing to an amazing community.

Although I’m a passionate climber and a certified UIAA/NKBV instructor, I’m definitely not a born athlete or someone who effortlessly scales the hardest routes. Climbing didn’t come naturally or easily to me, and I know firsthand that starting climbing can feel intimidating—especially when so much of what you see and hear is about the world's most talented climbers.

Most of us start off fumbling with our knots, slipping off holds, battling fears... and could use a little help with that. My mission is to make climbing approachable, encouraging, and safe for everyone. Drawing on my Learning and Development background, I create inclusive climbing instruction that welcomes everyone regardless of skill level or identity. My approach is structured yet adaptable, emphasizing safety fundamentals and personal growth.
